Welcome

We are a family church in the heart of the city of Sunderland. We are passionate about Jesus, the people of our city and the North East. Whether you’re new to the area and looking for a church, curious about attending a church for the first time, or anything in between, you are welcome to join us and we hope you will feel at home

  • Church is about so much more than a Sunday service, but we do love gathering together on a Sunday! We meet in the church building each week at 11am to worship God, hear teaching from the bible and spend time with each other over refreshments and snacks. Everyone is welcome! If you have any questions about attending a service for the first time please get in touch.

    Our services are also streamed live on YouTube, but you’ll have to provide your own snacks!

  • Kids at Hope Vineyard are a priority for us. Our prayer is that they would grow up secure in their identity as a loved child of God. After a time of worship the kids team create space for children to connect with God and with each other, to grow in their faith and love for Jesus and to be outward looking as they pray for each other and for our world.

    For younger children we have a creche at the back of the main hall that you are welcome to use at any point during the service. You will still be able to see and hear everything that’s going on whilst you’re in there.
